The Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, during his official visit to Nangarhar Province, held a meeting with representatives of the World Health Organization.

The meeting primarily focused on the assessment of medicines that the World Health Organization intends to provide. During the discussion, Deputy Minister Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, together with his accompanying delegation, presented a list of essential medicines required for hospitals and health centers. This list was shared with the WHO representatives to ensure that the demands of hospitals and health facilities, particularly for the victims of the recent earthquake, are adequately met and that future shortages of medicines are prevented.

Furthermore, the Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health expressed his gratitude to the World Health Organization representatives for their support and reaffirmed appreciation for their continued cooperation in strengthening health services.
