Bid Opening Held for Construction of Daman Hospital in Kandahar and Alasay Hospital in Kapisa

The bid opening for the Daman District General Hospital in Kandahar Province was conducted in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Public Health’s Procurement, Financial, and Engineering Directorates, along with representatives from 18 construction companies.

Officials emphasized the transparency of the process and expressed hope that the selected company will complete the project with commitment, integrity, and precision, within the specified timeframe and in line with the Ministry’s requirements. They noted that, as a public interest project, its implementation will be closely monitored.

Representatives of the bidding companies pledged that, if awarded the contract, they will adhere to the Ministry’s standards.

Of note is the fact that the Ministry of Public Health plans to construct general hospitals in 318 districts across the country, with procurement for this initiative currently ongoing.
