Nationwide Inspections Conducted Across Multiple Provinces

Inspections conducted at several clinics, pharmacies, manufacturing factories, and food outlets in the provinces of Nangarhar, Khost, Ghazni, Kunar, Panjshir, and Badakhshan.

The inspections were carried out by officials from the Public Health Directorates of these provinces. As a result, 25 expired food items and one pharmaceutical manufacturing factory were shut down in Nangarhar province due to the production of substandard medicines. Additionally, 80 medicine items and 39 expired food products were seized in Khost province and transferred to the central warehouse for disposal.

Furthermore, 208 medicine items and 30 food products were confiscated in Kunar province, 12 packages of food items in Ghazni province, and 42 medicine items along with 40 expired food products in Panjshir province. Likewise, in Badakhshan province, five pharmacies were shut down due to illegal activities.
