Following the directives of the Ministry of Public Health, a delegation led by the Director of Private Sector Coordination and Regulation, Al-Hajj Dr. Ahmad Khandan, launched a monitoring mission in Paktika. The mission aimed to support private healthcare centers, ensure legal compliance, improve service standards, and facilitate the issuance of official operating licenses.

The delegation first met with the Paktika Public Health Director, Dr. Abdullah Jan Haqmal, and formed two joint monitoring teams. These teams conducted inspections in public hospitals and 104 private healthcare centers in the provincial capital and districts.

During the inspection, 43 private health centers without valid licenses were closed, and 59 others provided written commitments to complete their documentation within one month and comply with ministry regulations to obtain their licenses.

The monitoring initiative aimed to support healthcare facilities, ensure full compliance with ministry standards, complete licensing procedures under Regulations 1084 and 916, and improve access to quality healthcare services for the population.
