The project, initiated with a budget allocation of 10 million Afghanis, focuses on enhancing emergency medical services, increasing the hospital’s patient intake capacity, and ensuring timely access to critical care for individuals requiring urgent treatment.

According to Uruzgan public health authorities, the expansion will introduce multiple clinical facilities, streamline the patient treatment workflow, and enable the provision of standardized emergency healthcare services, ensuring improved medical responsiveness and better health outcomes for the community during emergencies.
