Monitoring was conducted of drugs facilities and food outlets in various districts of Kabul city
Officials of the Ministry of Public Health for monitoring and evaluation of medicines, health products, and food conducted inspections of a number of medical facilities and food shops in various districts of Kabul city to control prices, prevent hoarding and monopoly, ensure quality, and enforce health regulations.
During the inspection, 63 facilities were inspected, of which two pharmacies and one wholesale drug store were closed for violating health laws, and 38 items of illegal aphrodisiac drugs were confiscated and transferred to the central warehouse for destruction.
Officials from the Ministry of Public Health urged all pharmacy managers to regulate and continue their activities in accordance with health laws and regulations.
