The equipment valued at 130 million Afghanis was procured following the completion and inauguration of the hospital’s new building. The Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, secured the support with the help of a Saudi donor, Sheikh Abdullah bin Al Thani.

The newly supplied equipment includes CT scan, MRI, and other modern medical devices. The equipment is expected to become operational soon, which will help expand healthcare services and improve access to treatment for residents of Nimroz.

Meanwhile, radiology centers equipped with CT scan technology have recently begun providing services at the Afghan-Japan Hospital and the Infectious Diseases Specialized Hospital.
