Over the past month, the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Farah Provincial Public Health Directorate achieved the following activities and achievements

Under the guidance of Dr. Mohammad Wali Ahmadzai, the department inspected 298 private healthcare and food establishments to improve service quality, prevent illegal activities, and ensure food safety. As a result of these inspections, 11 pharmacies were closed, and about 1.5 tons of substandard and expired medicines and food items were confiscated from different areas of Farah province and destroyed in the presence of the authorized committee.

These activities were conducted to protect public health, prevent the distribution of low-quality and expired products, ensure compliance with health standards, and improve the overall quality of healthcare services in Farah Province.
