Practical Training Program Empowers Hundreds of Health Graduates Across 15 Provinces

The three-month practical training program at the Prof. Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences, financially supported by the Norwegian Afghanistan Committee, commenced on the 18/06/1404.

The program aims to equip male and female graduates with practical job skills in their respective fields. Female graduates will receive hands-on training in gynecology, nursing, laboratory services, pharmaceuticals, and physiotherapy at specialized health centers. It will be implemented in the provinces of Badakhshan, Faryab, Ghazni, Kapisa, Khost, Nangarhar, and Paktia. In total, 546 graduates from 15 provinces will benefit, including around 300 in gynecology, 180 in nursing, 24 in pharmaceuticals, 24 in laboratory, and 18 in physiotherapy.

Dr. Mohammad Qasim Adil, Director of the Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences, welcomed the participants, describing the program as valuable for enhancing the professional skills of graduates, and expressed his gratitude to the Norwegian Afghanistan Committee for its financial support and cooperation.

Similarly, Dr. Shirzad, Health Coordinator of the Norwegian Afghanistan Committee, spoke about the value of the program and added that, to date, it has provided 556 graduates with opportunities to strengthen their professional skills through practical training.
