Private Health Facilities and Pharmacies Monitored in Three Districts of Kapisa Province

The monitoring team of the Kapisa Public Health Directorate monitored several private health facilities and pharmacies in Hesa Awal Kohistan, Hesa Duwum Kohistan, and Kohband districts.

The team assessed compliance with health laws and regulations, the validity of operating licenses and availability of relevant documents, the supply of medicines and health products in accordance with established standards, and adherence to legal requirements. The monitoring aimed to prevent the distribution of substandard medicines and illegal activities and to safeguard public health.

As a result, four pharmacies were sealed, and 96 types of expired medicines weighing a total of 13 kilograms were confiscated and transported to a designated site for disposal.

The team also monitored Professor Abdul Rashid Aziz OPD Clinic in Hesa Awal Kohistan district and assessed its existing problems and shortcomings.
