The inspections, led by the Food and Drug Inspection Teams of the Paktia Provincial Public Health Directorate, covered 17 pharmacies and 9 salt packaging factories. As a result, 17 expired and substandard pharmaceutical items and 130 packs of low-quality salt were seized and subsequently transferred to the central facility for proper disposal.

Additionally, the in-charges were provided with essential guidance and technical instructions to ensure operations comply fully with Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) standards.
