Provincial Monitoring of Private Hospitals Launched

The Ministry of Public Health has begun inspecting private hospitals in the provinces, led by Dr. Faqir Mohammad Ziyar, Director General of the Medical Council at the Ministry of Public Health. The committee is reviewing the presence, credentials, and licenses of local and foreign medical staff. Legal action will follow any violations.

During monitoring, Dr. Faqir Mohammad Ziyar, inspected the Nishter Kidney Center, Infectious Disease, Regional, and Bibi Fatimat-u-Zahra Provincial Hospitals in Nangarhar Province. He praised the positive and effective practices, identified existing problems and shortcomings, and provided instructions to the relevant officials for their resolution.

Notably, during this monitoring process, the service operations of all public and private hospitals in Nangarhar Province will be observed. The presence of foreign and domestic doctors, nurses, and other health workers, along with the organization of their activities, educational credentials, licenses, and residence documents, will be reviewed. In case of any violations, appropriate legal action will be taken.
