Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi Visits Healthcare Facilities in Kabul to Assess Service Continuity Plans

Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Affairs of the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by a delegation, visited the Ibn-e-Sina Emergency Hospital, the Radiology Department, Central Laboratory, Central Polyclinic, and Kabul Ambulance in Kabul

The purpose of the visits was to assess the sections of the healthcare facilities affected by Kabul’s urban development plan and identify suitable alternative locations to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of healthcare services and avoid any service disruptions during the implementation of the plan.

The Deputy Minister closely observed the various departments and equipment of the healthcare facilities and assessed service delivery, the challenges faced by healthcare staff, and the condition of patients.

H.E Siddiqi also stressed the importance of further improving healthcare services, ensuring transparency and efficiency, and maintaining respectful treatment of patients, and directed the relevant officials to ensure the timely and standard delivery of healthcare services in line with existing needs.

The leadership of the Ministry of Public Health is striving to improve the quality of services in the country’s healthcare facilities and ensure timely response to people’s healthcare needs.
