The training was organized by the Directorate General of Monitoring, Audit, and Health Information of the Ministry of Public Health for twenty HMIS staff members from public health and implementing organizations in Paktia, Paktika, Khost, and Logar provinces. Its aim was to strengthen the effective use of the DHIS2 system, ensure data quality, analyze and interpret data, and review user accounts. During the training, HMIS technical trainers delivered both practical and theoretical sessions covering improved data management, accurate performance reporting, and data analysis.

It is worth noting that DHIS2 is a comprehensive information system used to manage health data. The system is specifically designed to collect, store, analyze, and share data from communities and health centers and is also used internationally.
