Through the continuous efforts and coordination of the Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate of International Relations and Aid Coordination, 12 doctors from the Doctors of Rahman (DoR) charity arrived in Afghanistan

The UK-based organization has organized this medical mission in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health. It will continue until February 6, 2026, with specialist doctors from the US, UK, India, Lebanon, Qatar, and several other countries participating.

The mission aims to strengthen Afghanistan’s health sector, expand specialized treatment, provide medical equipment, and build the capacity of Afghan healthcare workers. Specialist doctors in fields such as orthopedics, cardiology, surgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, and cancer care will provide services at designated medical centers.

The Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate of International Relations and Aid Coordination has supported the mission with visa processing, customs clearance of medical equipment, coordination of hospital schedules, and security and logistical assistance.

The mission is seen as an important step in strengthening Afghanistan’s health system, expanding specialized treatment, improving access, and promoting cooperation with international charitable organizations.
