Urgent Meeting Addresses Acute Diarrhea Outbreak in Kafshan Valley: Health Teams Deployed for Immediate Response
A meeting convened under the leadership of Mawlawi Abdulwali Haqqani, the deputy minister for Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health, brought together central directors from the ministry, representatives from the infectious disease hospital, and the implementing agency JACK for the vaccination campaign. This meeting aimed to address and respond to the recent outbreak of acute diarrhea in the Kafshan Valley of the Ghurbund district in Parwan province.
During the proceedings, the deputy minister for Health Services assigned various specialized health teams to deploy to the affected area. Their objectives include raising public awareness, assessing the health status of patients, and ensuring the provision of comprehensive medical facilities for both patients and local residents. These efforts are critical to facilitate urgent interventions necessary to mitigate the outbreak.
Furthermore, the representative of the implementing agency JACK for the vaccination campaign in Parwan province received directives to actively engage in monitoring the health situation in the Kafshan Valley. They are expected to mobilize all available medical resources to ensure effective treatment for those affected.
