Work Begins on 70 kW Power Supply Project for Lal District Hospital in Ghor Province

Work has begun on a project to provide electricity to Lal District Hospital in Ghor Province, with financial support and cooperation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at an estimated cost of $100,000.

The project involves the installation of a 70 kW power supply system. Upon completion, it will provide electricity to various sections of the hospital, essential medical equipment, and the heating system.

Officials of the Ghor Provincial Public Health Directorate expressed their appreciation for UNDP’s support and cooperation in implementing the project. They expressed hope that its completion will address one of the key needs of Lal District Hospital and provide a more suitable environment for delivering health services to the local communities.
