48 Items of Medical Equipment Worth US$466,000 Handed Over to Implementing Organization for 10 Health Facilities in Nangarhar

The equipment was provided by UNICEF under the SAFE/HIVA project for Nangarhar Regional Hospital and 10 district-level health facilities.

The equipment includes ultrasound machines, infant warmers, medical refrigerators, and a number of other essential items. In the presence of the Director of Public Health of Nangarhar and a representative of UNICEF’s Health Section, the equipment was handed over to the central warehouse of Mihan, the implementing organization, for onward distribution to the respective health facilities.
