Awareness and Drug Use Prevention Program Conducted for University and High School Students

Under the National Drug Treatment Programme of the MoPH, an awareness and prevention program on drug use was conducted for students of the  Raazi Institute of Health Science and Mohammad Ismail Hasanzai High School, aiming to raise awareness among students and prevent young people from being affected by drug abuse.

The prevention team of the National Drug Treatment Programme of the Ministry of Public Health delivered a scientific and professional seminar on the harms, consequences, and prevention methods of drug use.The causes and factors of addiction were also discussed, along with the social, economic, family, and psychological factors contributing to this issue.

Additionally, the physical and psychological signs of addiction were discussed in detail so that students could recognize the early signs of addiction and better play their role in prevention and effective public awareness activities.
