Deputy Minister of Health Services convenes with the heads of central hospitals
During a meeting, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health, convened with the heads of central hospitals. The meeting focused on two key topics: the appointment of representatives for the health teams attending the pilgrimage to Baitullah Sharif and the provision of healthcare services for Afghan pilgrims.
Within this gathering, Mr. Haqqani urged the heads of central hospitals to promptly introduce their healthcare professionals, including qualified specialists, pharmacists, and nurses, to the teams of pilgrimage of Biatullah Sharif. The purpose behind this was that healthcare teams would make sure to address any health-related concerns encountered by the pilgrims.
Furthermore, the Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health emphasized the need for a transparent selection process for healthcare workers. The selection process would involve a fair and unbiased method, such as tossing, to ensure that deserving individuals are included in this program.
It is important to highlight that the medical team assigned to provide healthcare services for Afghan pilgrims during the pilgrimage to Baitullah Sharif this year comprises 17 general practitioner specialists, 2 surgical specialists, 3 nurses, and 3 pharmacists.
