Inspections Conducted in the Private Health Sector and Food Outlets of Uruzgan Province

Officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Uruzgan Provincial Public Health Directorate inspected 44 pharmacies, seven wholesale medicine suppliers, four laboratories, eleven clinics, and eighty-seven food outlets in Deh Rawood District. The inspection identified 48 expired medicinal items, one unregistered pharmaceutical product, and 34 expired food items, which were transferred to the Department for safe disposal.

Managers of the inspected facilities were instructed to ensure full compliance with the regulations set by the Ministry of Public Health’s Authority of Food and Drugs.
