Afghanistan's Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Meets with the Ambassador of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation(OIC) to Afghanistan, Mr. Al-Ayash, in His Office

At the meeting, they exchanged information on enhancing collaboration in the health sector, the assistance provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) to Afghanistan’s healthcare system, and upcoming health initiatives in the country.

His Excellency Jalali, the Minister of Public Health, highlighted the valuable role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the Islamic world and emphasized that the OIC should convey the message and health-related needs of the Afghan people to the international community

He also, described access to health services as a fundamental right of the people and emphasized that the health sector must remain free from political influence.

The Minister of Public Health also stated, “In addition to international aid, we are working to further develop and standardize the health system using our internal budget.” He added that, fortunately, several major health projects have been progressing rapidly in recent times.
