MoPH Conducts Inspections in Kabul to Reduce Air Pollution and Prevent Respiratory Diseases

Officials from the Air Pollution Regulation and Reduction Department of the Ministry of Public Health’s Environmental Health Directorate conducted inspections of various establishments in Kabul to help prevent respiratory diseases and improve air quality.

The relevant checklists were completed, and the owners and responsible officials were instructed to obtain the required health cards. They also gave assurances that they would not operate their establishments without proper smoke-filtration systems in place.

Furthermore, health messages, awareness materials, and the Guidelines on Air Pollution Reduction were explained and distributed to the responsible officials, with a view to ensuring that their operations comply with the standards and requirements of the Ministry of Public Health.
