MoPH Conducts Training Workshop on Management and Public Health Ethics for Healthcare Workers
The Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate of Public Health Education and the Afghanistan National Public Health Institute conducted a one-week training workshop on management and public health ethics for 32 healthcare workers from the Isteqlal and Mental Health National and Specialty Hospitals.
The training workshop aimed to enhance healthcare workers’ knowledge and strengthen their professional skills in management and public health ethics. Experienced trainers covered key topics, including management principles, administrative management, report writing, team building, effective communication, waste management, basic public health principles and ethics, health promotion, and appropriate interactions with patients.
At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates and encouraged to apply their newly acquired knowledge in the workplace to help improve the quality of healthcare services, uphold professional ethics, and provide better services to patients.
