H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, Lays Foundation Stone for General Hospital in Daimirdad District
The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the General Hospital in Daimirdad District, Maidan Wardak Province, during his visit to the province. The project is valued at AFN 63 million.
The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by the Minister of Public Health, H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, and his accompanying delegation, the Provincial Director of Public Health, Hafiz Saeed-ur-Rahman Qadari, the District Governor of Daimirdad, representatives of several other provincial departments, and local residents.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister described the project as a significant step toward improving access to healthcare services, meeting the district's essential health needs, and providing quality medical care. He stated that the construction of such hospitals in remote districts would enhance the quality of healthcare services while ensuring that communities have access to timely and standardized medical treatment.
The Minister further reaffirmed the Ministry of Public Health's commitment to delivering high-quality, equitable, and standardized healthcare services across all regions of the country, adding that the Ministry will continue its efforts to further improve the quality and standards of healthcare services nationwide.
