MoPH Signs $208,860 MoU with ODESC to Provide Nutrition Services in Faryab
The Ministry of Public Health signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), valued at $208,860, with the Organization for Development Economic, Social and Capacity Building (ODESC) to provide services for the management of moderate acute malnutrition in Faryab Province.
The MoU was signed to improve the quality and accessibility of health services and help address the health needs of the local communities. Under the MoU, 68,552 residents of the province will have access to health services through 34 health facilities, while 41 people will be provided with employment opportunities in the health sector.
Representatives of ODESC also assured that the project would be implemented in line with all established standards and that particular attention would be given to addressing the health needs of the local communities.
