MoPH Minister Inaugurates Hemodialysis and Fistula Units at Rabia Balkhi Specialized Hospital
Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the IEA, along with a delegation, inaugurated the newly established hemodialysis and fistula units at Rabia Balkhi Specialized Hospital.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Minister described the establishment of these units as an important step toward further expanding health services for the people and expressed his satisfaction that the hospital now has the capacity to provide hemodialysis and fistula services.
The Minister also encouraged healthcare workers to make further efforts in treating and serving patients and thanked them for continuing to provide health services to the people despite limited resources.
H.E Jalali further stated that every step taken to improve the quality and accessibility of health services is valuable for the country’s development and the well-being of its people.
The newly operational units will provide hemodialysis and fistula-related health services to patients in need, thereby improving access to these services and facilitating patients’ access to treatment.
It is worth noting that the hemodialysis unit was established with funding from the MoPH’s internal budget, while the fistula unit was established with financial support from the Islamic Development Bank and the World Health Organization (WHO).
