Take the following steps to reduce your risk of dengue infection!

Dengue mosquitoes breed in water-filled containers both indoors and outdoors.

1. Dispose of all discarded water-holding items, including bottles and other similar containers.

2. Empty, clean and scrub water storage containers once a week.

3. Keep all water storage containers tightly covered.

4. Turn unused water containers upside down to prevent water from collecting in them.

5. Keep drains, ditches and sewers clean and free of stagnant water.

6. Replace the water in flower vases regularly.

Note: Even a bottle cap can hold enough water for mosquitoes to breed!
