The meeting of the committee tasked with reviewing, drafting, and renewing agreement guidelines with domestic and international organizations, donors, and Emirati institutions was led by Dr. Sayed Rasool Mangal, Director General of Planning and Policy of the Ministry of Public Health.

The meeting was held to review, standardize, and enhance the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Guide. Participants discussed technical, professional, and legal matters and shared their insights on the guide’s content, implementation, legal clarifications, and inter-agency coordination.

Representatives from relevant Ministry of Public Health Directorates also participated, offering practical and technical suggestions to improve the guide based on their experience.

The participants also emphasized that a standardized, clear, and well-organized guideline for agreements can play a key role in improving the quality of health services, ensuring proper project selection, and enhancing effectiveness and transparency.

The main goal of updating this guide is to align institutional projects with Emirati policies and national priorities, support effective resource management, and ensure the delivery of quality, standardized health services to the public.

Based on the committee’s discussions and recommendations, the agreement guidelines are expected to be finalized, revised, and ready for implementation.
