Meeting Held at Indira Gandhi Children’s National and Specialized Hospital on Hospital Digitalization
The meeting, attended by Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine of the Ministry of Public Health; Dr. Aminullah Momand, Director of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals, and specialists from various departments of central hospitals, discussed several important topics related to hospital digitalization.
Dr. Wahdat Alokozai stressed the importance of hospital digitalization, saying it will improve service quality, ensure accurate data recording, and reduce patients’ waiting time. He also noted that digital systems enhance transparency, monitoring, and decision-making.
Similarly, Dr. Aminullah Momand and other specialists discussed the existing challenges and shared their suggestions for the effective implementation of the digital system, stressing that staff training, provision of necessary equipment, and technology-based data management will improve hospital services.
At the end, the participants emphasized the importance of cooperation in advancing the digitalization process and innovating healthcare services, and they pledged to develop clear plans and timelines for practical implementation.
