Foundation Stone Laid for New Basic Health Center in Nangarhar Province

The foundation stone of a Basic Health Center (BHC) was laid in the Mohmand Darah area of Spin Ghar District, Nangarhar Province, with a budget of 7.1 million Afghanis.

At a ceremony attended by the Deputy Governor of Nangarhar Province, Mawlawi Ghulam Rahman Haidri, the Provincial Public Health Director, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, and other provincial officials, it was stated that the health center is being constructed on three jeribs of land in a well-built and standard manner under the special attention of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him). He added that the facility will help provide essential healthcare services and improve access for local residents.

The Director of Public Health of Nangarhar Province further stated that the center will be staffed with an 11-member health team, providing services in maternal and child health, nutrition, immunization, and various other areas.
