Ministry of Public Health Holds Monthly Coordination Meeting with Specialized and Tertiary Hospital Directors

A monthly meeting was held with directors of central specialized and tertiary hospitals under the Ministry of Public Health to improve coordination, enhance healthcare services, and address existing challenges.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine of the MoPH, and was attended by central directors of the ministry, along with directors, chief physicians, and procurement and finance officials of specialized and tertiary hospitals.

The meeting focused on financial and procurement issues, strengthening coordination, and addressing the existing challenges in hospitals. Participants also discussed the allocated hospital budgets, procurement processes, and existing challenges, and called on the relevant authorities to address them.

Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, along with Procurement Director Ustad Mohammad Zubair Ghalib and representatives of the Finance and Accounts Directorate, listened to the concerns and suggestions of hospital officials and issued necessary instructions to the relevant authorities to improve services, strengthen coordination, and address existing challenges.
