Three-Day Training Program on the Use of the Authorized Medicines List in Electronic Regulatory Processes Begins for 120 Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority (AFDA) Staff

The program aims to strengthen staff capacity, foster coordination in the use of the National Authorized Medicines List, and enhance the digitalization of medicines regulatory processes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Deputy Minister of Food and Drugs Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid underscored the importance of the National Authorized Medicines List in medicines regulation and emphasized the need for its effective, transparent, and consistent use.

The training program, organized by the Capacity Building Unit of the AFDA in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), will familiarize participants with the National Authorized Medicines List, including its electronic system, objectives, structure, and application in regulatory processes. Participants will also gain practical knowledge of how to effectively use the system.
