Comprehensive Supervision Conducted at Parwan Provincial Hospital to Enhance Postgraduate Specialty Program

A comprehensive supervisory visit was conducted at Parwan Provincial Specialty Hospital to evaluate the implementation of the Postgraduate Specialty Program.
This initiative forms part of a series of ongoing inspections of provincial specialized hospitals, with the primary objectives of identifying and addressing challenges within specialty programs, ensuring the effective implementation of the program’s tailored curriculum, and enhancing the overall quality of postgraduate medical training. The visit was carried out by the supervisory team from the Directorate of Postgraduate Specialty at the Ministry of Public Health.
Accompanied by the director of Parwan Provincial Hospital, the supervisory team conducted an in-depth evaluation of key departments, including General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Laboratory Services, and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The overarching aim of this supervision was to establish a robust framework for standardizing the Postgraduate Specialty Program. By addressing existing challenges and fostering the development of highly trained specialists, this initiative seeks to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to meet the needs of the nation’s citizens.
