Deputy Minister of Food and Drugs at the Ministry of Public Health, holds a meeting with officials from Pakistan’s Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP)

Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Food and Drugs at the Ministry of Public Health, held a meeting with officials from Pakistan’s Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) and the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association.
Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, along with his team, met online with Mr. Obaidullah Malik, Director of Registration and Licensing at DRAP, Pakistan, and his team.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid thanked the participants and talked about the importance of maintaining good quality drugs and food products imported from Pakistan. He also discussed key topics such as signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Afghanistan and Pakistan on drug regulation, creating a digital system for faster processes, and appointing representatives from both sides to solve ongoing issues.
Dr. Obaidullah Malik and his team thanked the organizers for the meeting, calling the discussions helpful for both countries. They promised to provide full support moving forward.
