Food Safety Directorate General Holds Administrative Meeting to Review Key Technical and Professional Matters

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi, Director General of Food Safety, and attended by directors, specialists, and heads of the relevant departments.

The meeting discussed the implementation of requirements for imported food products intended for personal use, necessary measures to address high-risk confectionery products intended for children, the implementation of orders for the disposal and destruction of unfit food products, and ways to expedite the registration of products manufactured by food production companies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, following the views and recommendations shared by the participants, the necessary decisions were made and instructions were issued on the matters discussed.
