Leadership and Technical Committee Meeting Held to Review and Finalize Afghanistan’s New Health Services Provision Document

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiyasi, Deputy Minister for Health Development and Policy, and attended by the Ministry’s central directors, representatives of UNICEF, the World Health Organization (WHO), and several other non-governmental organizations (NGOs). During the meeting, the new National Health Services Provision Document of Afghanistan was presented and explained through a detailed presentation.

Furthermore, members of the technical committees and other participants shared their views and recommendations to further refine and finalize the document.

After hearing the views and recommendations of the participants, the Deputy Minister for Health Development and Policy appointed a technical committee comprising representatives from various organizations. The committee was tasked with incorporating the recommendations and proposed revisions into the document and taking the necessary steps to finalize it and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
