Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Donates Fully Equipped Ambulance to Balkh Provincial Health Directorate

A new, fully equipped ambulance has been handed over by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to the Directorate of Public Health in Balkh province.

The handover ceremony was attended by Rahmatullah Mansoor, Director of Public Health in Balkh; Mohammad Jibraeel, MSF’s representative in the province; along with a number of health officials and partners.

In his remarks, Mr Mansoor expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that the ambulances would play a crucial role in providing emergency services, transporting patients, and ensuring rapid response to urgent medical cases. He also voiced hope that the collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières would continue in the future.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Jibraeel, Director of MSF’s Balkh office, praised the efforts of the provincial health directorate and said: “We are grateful for the close and sincere cooperation that the Balkh health authorities have consistently shown towards partner organisations. Such coordination enables us to deliver better services to those in need.”
