The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, convened with representatives from UNICEF and the World Food Program in his office.

During this meeting, they engaged in discussions regarding the execution of the cash assistance distribution program aimed at supporting families with children across Afghanistan.

Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali articulated, “The Ministry of Public Health is resolutely committed to facilitating the implementation of programs that directly and indirectly enhance health conditions.”

He further underscored that the initiation of this program should commence only after a memorandum of understanding is formalized between the Ministry of Health and the implementing organizations to ensure effective coordination.

In turn, representatives from UNICEF and the World Food Program expressed their appreciation for the collaborative efforts with the Ministry of Public Health, emphasizing that the execution of this program would be conducted transparently and systematically in collaboration with the implementing organizations following the signing of the memorandum of understanding.
