Minister of Public Health Visits Temporary Hospital for Earthquake Victims in Kunar

The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, visited the temporary hospital recently established by the Ministry of Public Health at the military base in Khas Kunar district, Kunar province, to observe the health services being provided to patients hospitalized as a result of the recent earthquake.

During the visit, the Minister of Public Health inquired about the condition of the earthquake-affected patients, expressed his wishes for their recovery, and thanked the health officials who are voluntarily providing services to the affected people of Kunar.

The Minister also assured that additional facilities would be provided to deliver improved health services to the affected citizens.

He further stated that the temporary hospital at the military base in Khas Kunar district was established within a short time in order to provide timely first aid to earthquake-affected patients before their transfer to other hospitals.
