The mobile eye care teams from the Ministry of Public Health carried out free treatment for 4,000 eye patients in Panjshir province

The Director of Public Health in Panjshir, Dr. Hujatullah Mohammadi, pointed out that these patients were attended to over a ten-day period by a special medical team from the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, at a 40-bed hospital in the Rokha district of the province.

During this time, the medical team not only dealt with common eye conditions but also carried out successful eye surgeries on 500 individuals and handed out free eyeglasses to 500 people with weakened vision.
