MoPH Deputy Minister Visits Afghan-Japan and National Cancer Hospitals
The Deputy Minister for Health Services of the MoPH , Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, accompanied by a technical delegation, visited the Afghan Japan Hospital and the National Cancer Diagnostic and Therapeutic Hospital.
The Deputy Minister for Health Services first met with Isanu Mitsuo, Senior Adviser at the Human Resources Development Department of Japan, at the Afghan-Japan Hospital. They discussed the establishment of several new departments at the hospital to further enhance the quality and standard of healthcare services provided to the people.
Meanwhile, the adviser from Japan’s Human Development Division reaffirmed his commitment to continued cooperation and assured that he would make every effort to support and assist in this area.
H.E. Haqqani also highlighted the hospital’s challenges and strongly urged the hospital authorities and healthcare workers to address them promptly, ensuring that there were no obstacles or delays in the provision of healthcare services.
During his visit to National Cancer Diagnostic and Therapeutic Hospital, the Deputy Minister inquired about the well-being of patients, held a meeting with healthcare workers, and urged them to treat patients and visitors with respect and ensure that their concerns and needs are fully addressed.
