MoPH Launches Three-Day Workshop to Introduce New Online Database System

A Three-Day Workshop was launched under the Directorate of International Relations, Aid Coordination, and Integration of the Ministry of Public Health of the IEA to Introduce the Newly Developed Online Database System and explain it to the Relevant Partners.

The workshop was attended by the Deputy Minister for Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani; the Chief of Staff, Al Hajj Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Halim; the Director of International Relations, Aid Coordination, and Integration, Mawlawi Muhammad Dawood Mansori; as well as internal and external representatives of the implementing organizations.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister for Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani stated: The leadership of the Ministry of Public Health has always strived to ensure transparency and openness in its affairs. In line with this objective, a digital system related to the International Relations Department is being developed, and this explanatory workshop is being held

The Deputy Minister added that through this initiative, a system with comprehensive and standardized features can be established, and accurate data will be essential to better address service needs. He emphasized that this system will help ensure data accuracy, enhance coordination, and promote transparency in service delivery.

The Chief of Staff, Al Hajj Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Halim, also delivered a comprehensive speech on the importance of time, system standardization, and the development of digital systems. He added that Islam has instructed us to advance, strengthen, and facilitate matters, and on this basis, we must continue our efforts with greater dedication.

The Director of International Relations, Aid Coordination, and Integration, Mawlawi Mohammad Dawood Mansoori, delivered a comprehensive speech on the necessity, benefits, and positive impacts of the newly developed system. He stated that this is a fundamental and historic step in the health sector, as for the first time a structured digital system has been established to coordinate and enhance the management of international aid.

The Director of Information Technology at the Ministry of Public Health, Ahmad Javeed Wafa, stated in his speech that efforts are underway to digitize the system, with strong support from the Ministry’s leadership. During the workshop, various officials shared information about the system and described it as a fundamental step toward ensuring transparency and accountability.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Public Health has recently developed digital systems for various sectors, which have further facilitated transparency and accountability in operations.
