Deputy Minister of Health Promotion and Policy Visits Laghman Provincial Hospital

As part of an official visit to Laghman province, Deputy Minister for Health Promotion and Policy, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiyasi, along with Medical Council Director General Dr. Faqir Mohammad Ziyar and an accompanying team, visited Mihtarlam Provincial Hospital.

The visit aimed to evaluate healthcare service quality, check on patients' conditions, observe staff performance, and identify the hospital’s key challenges and needs.

Dr. Ghiyasi praised the hospital team’s efforts and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to improving the facility through enhanced support and technical assistance.

Dr. Samiullah Abid Niazi, Laghman’s Public Health Director, thanked the Ministry’s leadership and pledged to implement the shared recommendations promptly to improve healthcare services in the province.
