Training Program for Polio Campaign Supervisors Inaugurated in Baghlan Province

A two-day training program for polio campaign supervisors has been inaugurated by the National Expanded Program on Immunization (NEPI) Department of the Baghlan Public Health Directorate.

In this program, which was attended by representatives of UNICEF and the World Health Organization, as well as a number of other health workers and supervisors, the head of the National Expanded Program on Immunization at the Baghlan Public Health Directorate, Dr. Faisal Ahmadzai, spoke about the importance of preventing polio and said that polio remains a serious threat to children’s health.

He emphasized that through this training program, supervisors will gain the necessary skills in proper campaign management, guiding teams effectively, and raising public awareness.

Such training programs play an important role in the eradication of polio, and strengthening the capacity of supervisors is essential for the success of the campaign.
