Second National and International Abu Ali Sina Specialized Exhibition Officially Inaugurated by Ministry of Public Health
The Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan officially inaugurated the four-day Second National and International Abu Ali Sina Specialized Exhibition.
At a ceremony held on this occasion, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs; Mullah Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs; Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health; Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, Deputy Minister for Food and Drug; along with several other deputy ministers of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and media representatives attended the ceremony.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said that the pharmaceutical industry in the country has made remarkable progress in a short period of time. He added that a country can effectively withstand foreign sanctions only by meeting its needs through domestic production.
Mullah Abdul Salam Hanafi also stated that since the Islamic Emirate came to power, significant progress has been made in the health sector. He added that the IEA uses domestic products and urged everyone to prioritize local production. He also called on pharmaceutical companies to give special attention to the quality of their products.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali said during the meeting, “Use domestically produced medicines for your treatment.” He added that domestic pharmaceutical products should be prioritized, as this is the only way to reduce dependence on others.
Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid also stated that as a result of strong and effective leadership, significant progress has been made in the country’s reconstruction. He added that the exhibition reflects the efforts of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership and that Afghanistan’s pharmaceutical industry is also developing.
Several other officials also delivered comprehensive remarks at the event on the development of domestic production and the exhibition.
