The tea, imported from Kenya, was destroyed at Sheikh Abu Nasr Farahi Port in the presence of a joint inspection team, local officials, and media representatives.

Dr. Mohammad Wali Ahmadzai, Director of Public Health in Farah, said the tea tested negative in nine laboratory examinations and was destroyed today in the presence of a joint inspection team.

He added that imported goods are only allowed to enter the country after undergoing thorough laboratory testing and obtaining positive results.
