A delegation led by Alhajj Dr. Ahmad Khandan, Director of Private Sector Coordination and Regulation, conducted a monitoring mission in Paktia Province to support private health centers, ensure legal compliance, standardize services, and facilitate licensing.

The delegation met with Paktia’s Director of Public Health, Dr. Miraj Gul Adel, and formed joint monitoring teams. These teams inspected 146 private health centers across the provincial capital and districts, along with public hospitals.

As a result, five unlicensed centers and twelve substandard facilities were closed. Ninety-eight centers provided written commitments to complete their documentation within one month and obtain proper licenses in line with Ministry of Public Health regulations.

The primary goal of this supervision is to support health centers, ensure compliance with Regulations 1084 and 916, complete licensing procedures, and improve service standards for the population.
