Job Summary:

  • The Neurosurgery Specialist in Super specialty Hospital is responsible for overall treatment and management of Neurosurgery patients.
  • Responsibilities:
  • To perform proper services for the patients and in the areas outlined above according to service need.
  • To provide and to assist with the delivery of care to patients with critical illness
  • To perform continuity of elective & emergency services during period of activity.
  • To perform the services out of-hours through participation in duty outside normal hours.
  • To take participation in the morning report.
  • To participate in the visit on time and be responsible in taking decision regarding to the patients treatment.
  • To report for the neurosurgery ward in charge
  • Any other duties (OPD-IPD-Surgery cases based on duty roaster) assigned by supervisor as required.
  • Report to:                           Head of Unit and Director
  • Subordinates:                    Neurosurgery Ward

Qualifications & Requirement:

  • MD degree from recognized university
  • Must be Specialist in Neurosurgery
  • very good knowledge of English Language (written and spoken) 
  • Strong Communication Skills with patients and people
  • Good Computer skill (MS Office)
  • Ability to use internet/ search websites.
  • Skill for Drafting  and developing of Treatment Guidelines
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks
