MoPH Holds Meeting with ICRC on Disability and Rehabilitation Data Management

The Director General of Monitoring and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, Mufti Abdul Qudus Hashimi, held a meeting with technical representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to discuss ways to strengthen the disability and rehabilitation information system.

The meeting included a comprehensive discussion on the status, quality, management, and assessment of disability and rehabilitation data. Both sides emphasized the need to technically assess the existing data, develop a standardized dataset, and officially integrate it into the HMIS to support evidence-based decision making and improve the quality of health services.

Mufti Abdul Qudus Hashimi also stressed the importance of regularly collecting data to improve the management and quality of health information, strengthen coordination between the MoPH and the ICRC, and facilitate the assessment of key health indicators.
